Presently our committee is discussing:
- Budget deficit of approximately $19,000 as end of fiscal year approaches on June 30.
- Budget categories of new financial statement.
- Baskets for parish picnic.

Presently our committee is discussing:
- Cash handling guidelines.
- Profit of $6,420.42 from Winterfest.
Date: Feb. 28, 2012
Presently our committee is discussing:
- Appears that year-to-date budget is being met through first eight months of the fiscal year.
- Reviewed financial statement from Winterfest (roughly $6,400 profit).
- Started budget process for 2012-13 year.

- Early capital campaign planning.
- Status of current parish budget.
- Approved Building & Ground Committee proposal to renovate bathrooms in church basement.
- Welcome Tammy & Renee to their new parish positions.

- Discussion on candidates for administrative assistant and financial assistant.
- Seeking money counters for offeratory collections.
- Planning for Winterfest on February 17.
- Finalizing project cost for possible renovation/capital campaign.
- Tuition increase for SPACS.
- Losing member Susan Check; new member coming on to serve is Terri Chang.

Presently our committee is discussing:
- Deacon Art joined us and described his job. His role at St. Joe's will be developed over time.
- We finalized the 2011-12 budget, feeling we cannot trim any more expenses so we are asking for some increase in envelope donations and careful handling of income and expenses.

- Endowment trustee and how earnings are calculated for distribution to parish.
- Parish gift card revenues for 2010 were up $1,500 from 2009.

- SPACS school support for 2011-12.
- Major church capital projects (roof, steps, tuck pointing).
- Welcomed past Finance Council members and wished Fr. Al warm wishes with his new appointment.

- Expanding gift card sales.
