
The Roman Missal, Third Edition, the ritual text containing prayers and instructions for the celebration of the Mass, is now being prepared for publication. The Roman Missal will be implemented in the United States of America on the First Sunday of Advent, November 27, 2011.
The United States Conference of Catholics Bishops (USCCB) has developed a Web site to provide information to assist with the transition from the current version.

Encountering Christ in the Prayers of the Mass will be presented by Chris Carstens, Director of the Office of Sacred Worship, on Sunday, Sept. 11, in the St. Joseph Parish Family Center. A simple lunch will be provided at 11:30 a.m. followed by Chris' talk and Q & A, Noon - 1:30 p.m. Come explore why we should be excited about the Mass and reasons for the new Roman Missal.
